Context
Dak is actually the first E-Commerce site that we ever took from concept to launch. It was a wonderful experience learning the ins-and-outs of WooCommerce and the Dak business. One of the major challenges we faced during this build was the migration of a lot of content and products from a non-WordPress platform into WooCommerce. We solved this challenge by writing a custom Python script that was able to format the content into something we could work with in WordPress and then using a custom WordPress plugin we uploaded the content. To say we’re proud of this site is an understatement.
